Our Scoping Service follows a structured approach and gives an objective framework to evaluate what is required by your current business now, and to support future growth and initiatives in the future

We interview your team, gain insights from leadership, review your documentation, analyze your existing systems and process to understand how your business functions today, and what is required in the future.

Our Scoping Process

  • Gather input from team - workshops, 1:1 interviews with key users specific requirements - make as specific as possible so binary answers can be gleaned

  • Give a MoSCoW rating to objectively weight importance

  • Confirm with team, the software platforms to review against criteria

Decision Milestone 1: Which software will be reviewed?

  • Conduct initial Criteria Review against software using Requirements Document matrix

  • Give feedback on software to progress to next step based on alignment to Requirements Document

Decision Milestone 2: Which software will progress to further review / testing?

    • Where possible book demo session with software providers for top level walk through (if not already undertaken) and specifically confirm requirements that need closer scrutiny to fit requirements

    • Where not possible to book demo session with software provider, undertake testing direct in a demo environment of the software

    • Undertake testing alongside relevant team to confirm fit with requirements and any workflow differences to note

    • Update Requirements Document with confirmed fit / no fit for each criteria. Update with relevant notes to flag anything further requiring discussion or review

    • Confirm subscription pricing for each software option to fit needs

  • Consolidate findings clearly and circulate amongst decision team

Teams (or in person) call to work through top contenders, match to Requirements Document and all noteworthy discussion points that have arisen. Rank based on fit to requirements. Final call for additional testing, undertake testing, circulate any further findings

Decision Milestone 3: Which software(s) are selected for implementation proposal / costing?

  • Obtain implementation proposal from relevant vendor(s) - including timeline, inclusions, pricing, process

Decision Milestone 4: Make final decision and set in motion implementation process
